    Q:
How to replace the door lock cylinder on Buick Park Avenue? Posted by Customer
    A:
A Door Lock Cylinder replacement requires first removing the door trim panel and next the water deflector before continuing. To begin the Door Lock Cylinder replacement process start by detaching the outside Door Handle followed by the e-clip removal from the lock cylinder arm to the lock cylinder. Then proceed to remove the lock cylinder arm. The omega clip which holds the lock cylinder at the Door Handle needs to be spread open before unlocking the Door Handle then removing the lock cylinder without harming the gasket. Place the gasket into the outside Door Handle before snapping in the lock cylinder and afterward installing the outside Door Handle. The last steps involve installing the water deflector and then attaching the door trim panel.
