    Q:
How to replace the door lock cylinder on Chevrolet Camaro? Posted by Customer
    A:
Starting door lock cylinder replacement requires the removal of the front side door trim panel followed by the raising of the window. You can pull back the water deflector when necessary before removing the lock cylinder rod from its position in the lock cylinder pawl clip . A flat-bladed tool should be used to raise the lock cylinder retainer upward while you extract the door lock cylinder from the door ; continue by taking out the lock cylinder gasket from the door . First fix the new lock cylinder gasket onto the door surface before installing the door lock cylinder into its destination on the door assembly. Use a flat-bladed tool to slide down the lock cylinder retainer then restore the connection between the lock cylinder rod and the lock cylinder pawl clip. Put on the water deflector when necessary before you attach the front side door trim panel and decrease the window back into its place.
