The first step to replace the front Door Lock Actuator begins with Door Lock removal. The front Door Lock requires removal of screws connecting it to the front Door Lock Actuator unit. After that slide the front door actuator out from its position on the front Door Lock. Follow these steps to put in the front door actuator by fitting it to the front Door Lock before screwing it together with 2 n.m (18 lb in) force. The front Door Lock replacement process ends with installation of the front Door Lock.

The first step of lock actuator replacement involves uninstalling the side Door Lock followed by unscrewing the mounting screws from the lock actuator. Subsequently remove the lock actuator. The installation process requires first placing the lock actuator while carefully following the fastener notice in service precautions. The installation process requires first tightening the lock actuator screws to 3 n.m (27 lb in) then putting back the side Door Lock.

The power door lock actuator replacement begins with removing the door lock assembly through correct steps for different door types. First detach the two retainers which lock the power door lock actuator to the door lock assembly before removing the actuator. New installation requires users to place the power door lock actuator into position before attaching it with the retainers. The process of door lock assembly installation requires following the standard procedure for the selected door type.

The front side Door Lock replacement process starts when you remove the front door trim panel and the water deflector. The first step includes extracting the rear run channel out of the door before separating the lock rods and electrical connectors attached to the lock. To remove the lock rod guide from the Door Lock you must first take out the Door Lock from the door so you can unscrew its bolts. Screw the lock into place through the door before tightening its door bolts to 10 n.m (89 lb in). Attach the Door Lock rod guide after which you should establish electrical connector connections before reinstalling the lock rods. Proceed with attaching the rear run channel to the door followed by water deflector before securing the front door trim panel.

Detach the rear door actuator from the rear door lock.

Remove the clip that secures the inside handle rods to the door.

Position the new rear door lock actuator onto the rear door lock, ensuring to follow the Fastener Notice for proper guidance.

Reinstall the front door lock.

Finally, reinstall the water deflector and the trim panel.

Take out the screws securing the rear door lock to the rear door lock actuator.

Reinstall the rear door lock.

Tighten them to 2 Nm (18 lb in).

Remove the water deflector as needed.

Reconnect the electrical connector to the side front door lock and attach the lock rods.

Position the side rear door lower latch onto the door and install the bolts, tightening them to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

Next, detach the lock rods from the lock and disconnect the electrical connector from the lock.

Take out the rear run channel from the door.

Begin by placing the power door lock actuator back into position.

Detach the lock rod from the left side rear door lower latch and remove the four bolts securing the latch to the door.

Reattach the lock rod to the upper latch and finish by reinstalling the left side rear door trim panel.

Reattach the lock rods to the sliding side door rear lock and reinstall the sliding side door lower trim panel.

Position the side rear door upper latch onto the door and install the bolts, tightening them to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

Reattach the lock rod to the latch and reinstall the left side rear door trim panel.
