Window Regulator, Front Passenger Side

Starting the replacement of front door window regulators follows a step that includes disconnecting the Power Window Switch to disable the express up/down feature. First position the window to a half-way point then take away the front side door panel trim along with the water deflector. The window requires support through the placement of rubber wedge door stops which should be inserted into the front and rear areas between the inner door panel and the window. Begin by taking off the rear guide nuts on the window then drill the rivets of the regulator before sliding the motor and regulator backward if your vehicle has such equipment. Separate the Window Regulator from its guide channels while you should also remove the Window Regulator with motor when existing. The process of installation requires the Window Regulator with regulator motor to enter through the rear access hole before it gets mounted to the door guide channels. After attaching the electrical connector to the regulator motor (if equipped) you should install Window Regulator rivets while strictly following the fastener notice in service precautions. Use 10 n.m (89 lb in) torque when installing the window rear guide channel nuts and then put on the water deflector before setting the front side door trim panel in place.

Insert rubber wedge door stops at the front and rear between the window and the door inner panel.

Remove the window rear guide nuts, drill out the window regulator rivets, and disconnect the electrical connectors from the regulator motor if equipped.
