Window Regulator, Front Driver Side

The process to replace front door window regulators requires removing side front door trim panels together with front door water deflectors and door windows. First detach the electrical connector of the window regulator following removal of the nuts securing the regulator assembly. You need to assemble and pull out the window regulator through the door opening by folding both of its edges together. When installing the door regulator, position the foam-covered cable towards the outside edge of the door opening to prevent the noise of rattling. After inserting the window regulator into the door opening you should fasten it with nuts that require 25 N.m (18 lb ft) torque. Place the window glass correctly onto the window regulator before securing it with its attaching bolts at a torque of 7 N.m (61 lb in). Complete the installation by plugging in the window regulator electrical wires followed by the front door water deflector installation and then the side front door trim panel. Lower the window to inspect its functionality as the last step.

Install the window regulator nuts and tighten them to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
