The tool should be placed under the inner bushings and then users should remove the stabilizer shaft link. Begin by lifting the jack beneath the tool to ease tension on the lower Control Arm bolts and remove the bolts and nuts starting with the back bolt first. Use slow movements to lower the lower Control Arm after releasing coil spring tension yet avoid applying pressure on the lower Control Arm or lower Ball Joint. The coil spring together with its insulators should be taken out after complete removal of all compression force. To install the coil spring and insulators set them on the lower Control Arm with the correct positioning and identification tape directed toward the lower Control Arm. Support the lower Control Arm using the coil spring remover and installer (J 23028-01) while raising the jack to position the bushings into the frame holes and verify coil spring positioning in the upper Control Arm. Use the coil spring remover and installer (J 23028-01) to place bolts and nuts on the lower Control Arm before removing the tool from the bolts. Install the stabilizer shaft link as well as the shock absorber into their proper places. Use the jack to lower the vehicle while you torque lower Control Arm front and rear nuts to 90 nm (66 ft. Lbs.) while keeping weight on the wheels before checking the front wheel alignment.
