    To change the generator, initially disconnect its negative Battery Cable, the Drive Belt, and the engine cooling fans. States to disconnect the wiring harness connector from the generator and replish the protective boot around the generator output bat terminal to gain access. Take off the generator output bat terminal nut and remove the positive lead off the generator. Remove the bolts from the generator before tightening its lower bolt and moving it out of the vehicle (1, 2). For installation, fix the generator to the a/c compressor and engine, install the generator mounting bolts (1, 2) and tighten them up to 50 n.m (37 lb ft). Attach the wiring harness connector to the generator, and attach the battery positive lead and install generator output bat terminal nut fastened to 12.5 n.m (111 lb in). Place on protective boot onto the generator output bat terminal, place back the engine cooling fans, install back the Drive Belt and finally reconnect the negative cable battery.
