How to replace the auxiliary heat blower control switches on Chevrolet Astro? Posted by Customer
    A:
Start the replacement task for the auxiliary heat blower motor switch by using the parking brake and putting the gear selector into 1st position. Lower the tilt steering wheel to base level and pull off the instrument panel cluster trim cover by holding its edges to disengage its mounting points from the instrument panel. You need to release the tabs found on either side of each switch to take out the auxiliary heat blower motor switch from its position in the instrument cluster trim panel. Press both sides of the new auxiliary heat blower switch into the instrument panel cluster trim plate. Use the openings in the instrument panel to align the instrument panel cluster trim plate retainers before pressing it firmly in position. To finish the installation turn the gear selector to park position then turn the ignition off before releasing the park brake.
