How to replace the blower control switches on Chevrolet Prizm? Posted by Customer
    A:
To switch out your blower motor part starts with taking off this central panel trim and after that unfasten each of the 3 knobs from the hvac device unit. Work by loosening the 2 screws of the hvac unit and press it ahead until you see both screws at the back. Afterwards move the defogger and air inlet control switch aside after loosening its 2 screws. Disconnect the blower speed switch electrical connector and the A/C Switch electrical connector from the bulbs at their base. Disconnect the A/C Switch bezel from the hvac control unit before removing its two switch screws to take out the blower speed switch. Before anything attach the two screws to hold the blower speed switch onto the hvac control unit. Then install each illumination bulb. Secure the bezel with A/C Switch to the hvac control unit and set the A/C Switch electrical connector followed by the blower speed switch electrical connector. Return the defogger and air inlet control switch to their places and fasten both units using the 2 screws. Replace the hvac control unit in its panel position and attach the screws. Reinsert the three knobs and center console trim panel elements one by one.

How to replace the A/C Switch in the HVAC Control Assembly on Chevrolet Prizm? Posted by Customer
    A:
Start by removing the center console trim bezel when you want to replace the A/C Switch. Begin by removing the 2 screws then pull the a/c control unit forward before removing the 2 screws and the fresh/recirc switch. Disconnect both electrical connectors from the blower speed selector switch and the A/C Switch. Before you can take out the a/c control unit first disconnect both the temperature control cable and the mode control cable from the assembly. Begin a/c control unit installation by connecting the temperature control cable together with the mode control cable to the unit. Reconnect both the blower speed selector switch and the A/C Switch electrical connectors before installing the fresh/recirc switch secured by two screws. After placing the a/c control unit back into its instrument panel position use two screws to attach it then reposition the center console trim bezel into place.
