    Q:
How to replace the front brake line on Chevrolet Aveo? Posted by Customer
    A:
Before working on the brake hose replacement you need to lift the vehicle and take the Brake Line loose from its bracket on the wheel housing. Unfasten the e-ring from the wheelhousing bracket to remove both brake hose pieces and caliper bolt along with their seal rings. Put new seal rings on the brake caliper and bolt and fasten them into position by securing the front brake hose-to-caliper bolt at 40 nm (30 lb ft). Put the brake hose inside the wheelhousing bracket and fix both parts with an e-ring retainer. Bolt the Brake Line to the brake hose and tighten it to 16 nm (12 lb ft). Put the vehicle in its lowered position and service the brake system before looking for any fluid losses.
