    The first step to replace the electronic Suspension Control Module (ESC module) requires removal of the rear seat back followed by moving the rear seat back insulator out of the way. Start the replacement process by gently depressing the locking tabs of the esc module electrical connectors to disconnect them. Next push the esc module toward the vehicle's center and take it out of the bracket. Assemble the esc module to the bracket first before pulling it away from the bracket center until complete engagement and finally reattaching the esc module electrical connections . Reinstall the rear seat back after placing back its insulator in position. Complete calibration for new ecm modules because esc modules keep dtc c0563 in memory resulting in non-auto-clear detection until calibration finishes. Connect the scan tool to the data link connector dlc before following display instructions from the tool while maintaining engine off and turning on the ignition. Verify the scan tool has the most up-to-date chassis application program installed.
