    Q:
How to service and repair the Motor and Transmission Mount on Chevrolet Tracker? Posted by Customer
    A:
The installation process for fixing a transmission mount begins when you raise the car then suspend it. Support the transmission with the right hydraulic jack then disconnect the vss. Begin by eliminating the 2 bolts at the rear transmission mount then remove all 4 bolts which secure the rear transmission crossmember to the vehicle. Moving on to your next step, eliminate one bolt and the rear transmission mount from the extension case . Secure the rear transmission mount to the extension case through one retaining bolt while tightening it to 60 nm (44 ft. Lbs.). Use the vehicle's front to install the rear transmission crossmember followed by bolt fixation with 60 nm (44 ft. Lb) torque settings on all 4 bolts. Secure the 2 rear transmission mount bolts with torque at 60 nm (44 ft. Lbs.). Reattach the vss before taking out the hydraulic jack from beneath the transmission to lower the vehicle.

    Q:
How to replace the left engine mount on Chevrolet Tracker? Posted by Customer
    A:
Initiate replacement of the left engine mount by removing the mounting nut from its placement at the top. The task begins by lifting up the vehicle and positioning an engine support stand under the motor before proceeding with mount replacement. You must take out the 2 nuts from the bottom of the engine mount to elevate the engine for successful removal of the engine mount assembly. The left side engine mount removal procedure should start with taking out the engine mount nut and proceeding to detach the 4 bolts from the engine block bracket when needed and the 4 bolts from the body mount bracket when needed. Start by reinstalling the body mount bracket if it was differently removed before tightening all 4 bolts to 85 Nm (62 ft. lbs.). Install the engine block bracket while tightening its 4 bolts to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.). After lowering the engine position the remaining steps include installing and torquing the left side engine mount nuts to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.). The upper engine mount nut should be installed before torquing it to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).
