How to Replace a Rear Seat Back Cushion with a Seat Cushion Pad on Buick Century? Posted by Customer
    A:
Start by taking out the rear seat cushion before you can install a new rear seat back cushion (Folding). Begin by taking out the nuts securing the rear seat retainer at the bottom of the rear seat back. Then unfold the rear seat back cushions. Separate the rear seat latches from the seat back through bolt removal then disconnect the latches from the rear seat back assembly. The installation process begins by elevating the rear seat back cushions upward then repositioning the seat belts across the rear seat back surface before extracting the rear seat back out of the vehicle. Placing the rear seat back into the vehicle first requires you to reposition the seat belts onto the rear seat back. Use 10 nm (89 lb in) torque settings when installing nuts to the rear seat retainer which sits at the bottom of the rear seat back. To complete installation, position the rear seat latches under the seat back cushions then bolt them in place at 6 nm (53 lb in). Action includes folding up the rear seat back cushions followed by inspecting the seat before installing the seat cushion.

    Q:
How to Replace a Rear Seat Cushion Pad and Back Cushion (Non Folding) on Buick Regal? Posted by Customer
    A:
The first step for installing a new rear seat back cushion (Non Folding) requires removal of the rear seat cushion. The rear seat retainer needs its nuts removed from the position where it attaches to the bottom of the seat back. Handle the bottom section of the rear seat back before swinging it toward the ceiling to free offset connections from the upper frame hangers which permits pulling the rear seat back from the rear shelf. Install the new rear seat back on the vehicle by placing it at its proper position while connecting the upper frame to the rear shelf hangers. Ensure proper installation of the rear seat back nuts by tightness to 10 Nm (89 lb in). The last stage of the installation process requires installing the rear seat cushion.
