    Q:
How to replace the oil pan on Buick LaCrosse? Posted by Customer
    A:
The powertrain module extraction from the vehicle serves as the starting point for Oil Pan replacement. After installing the engine on an engine stand begin the installation process. The first step involves separating the A/C Compressor together with hoses from the engine followed by removing the engine front cover and the Oil Pan. First clean the Oil Pan before beginning its disassembly. Perform an inspection after complete clean-up. After disassembly the engine needs installation of the Oil Pan while it should return to its original position on the motor. Reinstall the A/C Compressor along with its hoses while installing the engine front cover last. For the last step connect the engine to both transmission and frame before reinserting the powertrain module into its original position.
