The first step involves removing the power steering pulley followed by disconnecting the power steering fluid reservoir hose from the pump and also separating the power steering gear inlet hose from the pump. The motorist should detach Power Steering Pump bracket fasteners and extract the Power Steering Pump assembly together with its bracket from the vehicle. Transfer the Power Steering Pump bracket according to need. The Power Steering Pump along with its bracket must be positioned into the vehicle where technicians should begin fasteners by hand before finishing torque applications. Torque the Power Steering Pump bolts in their specified installation sequence. Secure the Power Steering Pump bracket bolts to 50 n.m (37 lbft) torque specifications followed by attaching the power steering gear inlet hose to the pump with a tightening force of 38 n.m (28 lbft). Next connect the power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose. After cleaning all remaining fluid you should remove drain pans and put the Power Steering Pump pulley into place. To complete the installation place the front air deflector while performing a final step of filling the power steering system and bleeding it thoroughly.
