    Q:
How to replace the power steering pump on Buick Rendezvous? Posted by Customer
    A:
Starting the Power Steering Pump replacement requires detaching the wiring harness from the retainer situated on the Power Steering Pump reservoir followed by removing the accessory Drive Belt from the Power Steering Pump pulley. The first step requires detachment of the power steering pressure hose and power steering return hose from the pump before removing the mounting bolts to extract the pump from the vehicle. First detach the Power Steering Reservoir from the pump as well as the pulley of the Power Steering Pump. The first step of installation includes connecting the Power Steering Pump reservoir to its attachment point on the pump before attaching the pump pulley to the pump assembly. The system requires this pump to be placed back into the vehicle while installing mounting bolts which need to be tightened to 34 nm (25 lb ft). After reconnecting the wiring harness to its retainer you should attach the power steering return hose followed by the pressure hose. Install the accessory Drive Belt before you complete power steering system flushing and bleeding procedures and leakage checks.

How to replace the power steering pump on Chevrolet Venture? Posted by Customer
    A:
Starting the Power Steering Pump replacement requires you to remove the accessory Drive Belt from the pump while also disconnecting both the power steering pressure hose and return hose from the pump. Start by uninstalling mounting bolts from the Power Steering Pump which enables removal of the pump from the vehicle. The subsequent step involves removing the Power Steering Pump pulley together with the reservoir from the pump housing. Installation begins with connecting the reservoir to the pump before putting on the Power Steering Pump pulley. You should reinstall the pump into the vehicle before applying torque of 34 nm (25 lb ft) on the Power Steering Pump mounting bolts. The installation process requires connecting the power steering return hose to the pump together with the power steering pressure hose while fastening both fittings to 27 nm (20 lb ft). Place the Drive Belt before performing the power steering system bleeding process.
