    Q:
How to replace the power steering pump on Buick Terraza? Posted by Customer
    A:
The first step to replace a Power Steering Pump requires belt removal from the pump followed by pressure hose and return hose detachment from the pump. Begin by taking the engine electrical harness out from its retainers on the reservoir followed by removing the mounting bolts from the Power Steering Pump until the pump separates from its vehicle position. You should remove the Power Steering Pump pulley together with the reservoir from the pump. You should begin your installation protocol with reservoir attachment to the pump before putting on the power steering pulley and mounting the pump onto the vehicle. Caretakers must fasten the Power Steering Pump mounting bolts with a torque setting of 34 nm (25 ft. Lbs.). Fasten the power steering return hose and power steering pressure hose to the pump with a proper torque of 27 nm (20 ft. Lbs.). After the engine electrical harness reinstallation into reservoir retainers the Drive Belt replaces and the power steering system goes through bleeding.

    Q:
How to replace the power steering pump on Chevrolet Uplander? Posted by Customer
    A:
In order to remove the Power Steering Pump, you should remove the accessory Drive Belt from the pump pulley while not fully detaching the belt from the engine. Next, remove the fuel injector sight shield and then separate the power steering pressure hose and the power steering return hose from the pump. Remove the engine electrical harness from the reservoir retainers, then remove the Power Steering Pump mounting bolts, and finally remove the Power Steering Pump from the motor vehicle. Next, take off the Power Steering Pump pulley and the reservoir from the pump. To install, attach reservoir on to the pump, then attach Power Steering Pump pulley, then reinstall the vehicle pump. Mount the bolts of Power Steering Pump, which must be tightened to 34 nm (25 ft. Lbs.), and attach the power steering return hose and pressure hose to the pump with the tightening of its fitting to 27 nm (20 ft. Lbs.). Replace the engine electrical harness to the reservoir retainers, the fuel injector site shield and lastly, the Drive Belt on the accessory to the Power Steering Pump pulley. End the process by bleeding the power steering system.
