    Q:
How to Replace the Coolant Pipe in an Engine on Chevrolet Equinox? Posted by Customer
    A:
You must start by detaching the fuel injector sight shield to work on the engine coolant air bleed pipe. Remove the surge tank inlet hose as the next step. First, move the clamp on the coolant air bleed hose to a new position then detach the coolant air bleed pipe from the hose. First remove the upper Intake Manifold coolant air bleed pipe bolts before pulling the pipe away from the engine. Installation of the coolant air bleed pipe starts with engine installation where fastener caution must be observed. Secure the upper Intake Manifold coolant air bleed pipe bolts with 10 nm (89 lb in) torque. Secure the coolant air bleed hose to the coolant air bleed pipe before using the coolant air bleed hose clamp. Reinstall the surge tank inlet hose along with the fuel injector sight shield.
