    Q:
How to service the center rear seat belt in a Crew Cab on Chevrolet S10? Posted by Customer
    A:
You can access the Crew Cab center rear seat belt by removing first the 2 bolts attaching the rear seat bottom cushion to the floor. You must pull the rear seat cushion ears with care in order to disengage the retainers from the rear seat back mounting bracket before taking out the rear seat bottom cushion. The next step requires removing the nuts from the assembly retaining points on the center rear seat belt and detaching the assembly from the vehicle. The installation process starts with placing the center rear seat belt assembly within the vehicle before tightening its retaining nuts to 80 N.m (59 lb ft). Position the rear seat bottom cushion frame into the tab positions on the rear seat back mounting bracket and fasten it using 2 bolts which should reach 25 N.m (18 lb ft) torque. To finish the installation position the ear retainers of the rear seat bottom cushion inside the rear seat back mounting bracket.

    Q:
How to service the seat belt on GMC Sonoma? Posted by Customer
    A:
A service on the seat belt commences with bolt removal from the vehicle to lower seat belt anchor plate. A flat-bladed tool should be used for carefully opening the upper seat belt anchor plate cover before removing the bolt that secures the assembly. Start by removing the body side trim panel then pass the seat belt through the opening present in the body side trim cover. Pass the bolt which lets retain the seat belt retractor assembly and pull the assembly out of your vehicle. The seat belt retractor assembly installation requires repositioning it to the vehicle space before securing it with the bolt while tightening it to 70 N.m (52 lb ft). Put the seat belt through the opening in the body side trim cover before reinstalling the body side trim panel and pressing the seat belt opening trim cover tightly against its place. Use the upper seat belt anchor plate to mount the bolt which needs to be tightened to 70 N.m (52 lb ft) before installing the upper seat belt anchor plate cover. Fasten the lower seat belt anchor plate and bolt with a torque value of 70 N.m (52 lb ft).
