    Q:
How to replace the rear side door window regulator on Chevrolet Traverse? Posted by Customer
    A:
Beginning the replacement of the backside door window regulator requires trims panels removal from door sections. The energy absorber retainers and energy absorber must be removed after extracting the water deflector. Locate the holes in the regulator bolts and remove their hidden covers before detaching the window from the regulator by unscrewing the regulator to window bolts. Swing the window completely open and maintain its position for support. budete disconnect the electrical connector before loosening the upper bolt to support the regulator within the inner door. Next remove the lower regulator bolts combined with the connecting nut. Raise the regulator/motor toward the top until the upper bolt releases from the door then remove the regulator along with the motor. Tear the upper bolt off from the regulator followed by removing the regulator along with the window regulator motor. When installing the components combine the window regulator motor with the regulator and place them in the door aperture while tightening the upper and lower bolts (1, 3) to 10 Nm (88 lb in) and the nut to 9 Nm (80 lb in). At this point lower the window to the window guide on the regulator before reattaching the electrical connector to the regulator motor. First install both window bolts to the regulator before operating the window to reach the top of its channels. Finally install the energy absorber retainers with energy absorber. First seal the regulator bolt holes before thoroughly testing the window regulator then put on the water deflector followed by door trim panel reinstallation.
