Users need to delete the O-ring seal that exists at the neck of the reservoir or inside the hydraulic pump housing. Place the new O-ring seal inside the reservoir neck then apply power steering fluid as lubricating agent before installation. Place the reservoir on the hydraulic pump assembly by ensuring complete engagement of its neck opening. Secure the new reservoir retaining clips along the sides of the hydraulic pump housing by aligning the reservoir feet correctly.

Place new O-ring seal in power steering fluid before setting it into the neck section of the reservoir. The next step requires installing the reservoir onto the hydraulic pump assembly with security in placing the reservoir neck correctly into position. Secure the feet of the reservoir to the sides of the hydraulic pump housing by installing new retaining clips which must extend properly into the hydraulic pump housing.

Position the reservoir's feet parallel to the hydraulic pump housing sides before installing the provided new clips by ensuring tabs connect completely to the housing.
