    Q:
How to service the Air Bag Sensor in the Front End on Chevrolet Venture? Posted by Customer
    A:
Disable the sir system as the first step to service the inflatable restraint front end discriminating sen. Before disconnecting the electrical connector from the front end discriminating sensor remove the connector-position assurance component from the electrical connector on that sensor. Start by removing the two integral bolts that fasten the front end discriminating sensor to the frame front cross member before pulling the sensor from the vehicle. Position the front end discriminating sensor in place by installing its two integral bolts onto the frame front cross member until they reach 8 n.m (71 lb in) torque. You must install the sensor electrical connector on the front end discriminating sensor. Also remake the connection between the sensor electrical connector and the front end discriminating sensor. Then reinstall the cpa onto the sensor electrical connector. Finally, enable the sir system.
