    In order to fix or service the Steering Wheel, you need: the Steering Wheel job needs j 42120 puller legs, j 1859-a puller, and j 42640 Steering Column lock pin. Take off the Steering Wheel inflator module as well as the horn electrical connector at the start. After that, insert the Steering Column lock pin (J 42640) into the Steering Column, and remove and get rid of the Steering Wheel set nut. Connect the Steering Wheel puller legs (J 42120) and Steering Wheel puller (J 1859-A) to the Steering Wheel, then carefully tighten the center screw against the Steering Column until the Steering Wheel-slides off. When you have removed the Steering Wheel, put it back on the Steering Column while ensuring the splines fit together. Screw on the Steering Wheel set nut you have just installed, then tighten it to 41 nm (30 ft. Lbs.). Remove the Steering Column lock pin (J 42640) and put it aside, plug the horn electrical connector back in, and set the Steering Wheel inflator module in place. In the end, complete a sir diagnostic system check.

    To service and repairing Steering Wheel begin by taking out the Steering Wheel inflator module, and horn electrical connector. Then, fitting the steering column lock pin (J 42640) into the steering column, remove and dispose of the Steering Wheel set nut. Continue to attach the Steering Wheel puller legs (J 42120) and the Steering Wheel puller (J 1859-A) to the Steering Wheel. Tighten the puller centre fast against the column shaft of the steering. When the bowel comes off the Steering Wheel, that is the time you stop. Lastly, pull off the Steering Wheel puller legs (J 42120) and the Steering Wheel puller (J 1859-A) from the Steering Wheel.
