    You should begin by removing the 3 screws and taking off the IP steering column opening trim plate from the instrument panel. After that, squeeze and pull the upper and lower retaining tabs at the back of the instrument panel to release the outside remote control rearview mirror switch . Take the rearview mirror switch out of the instrument panel so you can remove the electrical connector, then pull the switch out of the vehicle. Connect the electrical connector to the outside remote control rearview mirror switch before putting the switch back into the instrument panel and making sure the retaining tabs snap in place. Now, put the IP steering column opening trim plate back in place and fix it using the 3 screws .
