How to service the power mirror switch on 2002 Chevrolet Tracker?

A technician should commence the power mirror switch service by removing three screws together with the IP steering column opening trim plate that secures the instrument panel. Afterward push down the upper and lower retaining tabs mounted behind the instrument panel to free the outside remote control rearview mirror switch. Push the rearview mirror switch outward to disconnect the electrical connector and afterward take out the switch from the vehicle. The electrical connector attaches to the outside remote control rearview mirror switch before replacing the switch into the instrument panel while making sure retaining tabs are completely engaged. The installation concludes with reattaching the IP steering column opening trim plate by securing it with three screws.
