• Q: How to replace the turn signal flasher on 2002 Chevrolet Tracker?

  A: Start by disconnecting the negative Battery Cable and removing the ip steering column opening trim part. Shift the bracket holding the Fuel Pump Relay and main relay off its position at the edge of the junction block from left to right. Extract lines of electrical connection from junction block's bottom section: remove inline connector c213, inline connector c205 and inline connector c204. Pull out junction block connector c4 and c5 from their sockets at the junction block front side. Use a tool to remove both junction block nuts attaching it to the left hinge pillar and the bulkhead. Lift away the junction block from its three retaining studs to work on the electricity connections at the block's backside. Use both fingers to pull apart the connection compartment from the junction block with its upper retaining tabs the release system. Disconnect the turn/hazard flasher from its position in the junction block by releasing both retaining tabs and pulling it directly out. Place the turn/hazard flasher into its junction block space and lock it using both retaining tabs. Push the top retaining tabs into the junction block housing to secure it properly. Fit the junction block over 3 mounting studs and lock it with 3 nuts type 3 (10 N.m). Plug the two ports c4 and c5 of the junction block at its front opening before installing inline connectors c213, c205, and c204 at the bottom of the junction block. Put back the bracket which holds the relays and reinstall it at the left-side junction block front. Also place the ip steering trim plate and reattach the negative battery terminal.
