• Q: How to replace the turn signal flasher on 2003 Chevrolet Tracker?

  A: Begin by removing the negative Battery Cable before taking off the ip steering column opening trim plate. Take out the bracket with the Fuel Pump Relay and main relay from their space at the left front junction block. The following connectors must be disconnected from the junction block bottom : inline c213, inline c205, and inline c204. Pull apart junction block connector c4 and c5 from its connections at the junction block front. Unthread the 3 nuts which hold the junction block to the left hinge pillar and its mounting point on the bulkhead. Take out the junction block from its 3 fixing studs to allow easy access while disconnecting the electrical connectors at the rear. Use your fingers to loosen the retaining tabs at the top of the connector housing from its junction block connection. Unplug the turn/hazard flasher from its junction block position by pushing both retaining tabs apart and removing the flasher directly forward. Reinsert the turn/hazard flasher into the junction block while verifying its retaining tabs click fully into place. After ensuring the retaining tabs at the top lock into place you can replace the junction block by pressing it back on its 3 studs and tightening the 3 nuts (3,10) to 10 n.m (89 lb in). First insert block connectors c4 and c5 to the front of junction block. Then connect inline connectors c213, c205, and c204 to its bottom section. After reattaching the bracket with the Fuel Pump Relay and main relay to their left front position on the junction block we need to put the ip steering column opening trim plate back in place and reconnect the negative Battery Cable.
