    Q:
How to replace the throttle body assembly on Chevrolet Tracker? Posted by Customer
    A:
To replace Throttle Body assembly, you should take out the intake air inlet duct and also the breather hose for the body throttle. Pull off the electrical connector from the throttle position (TP) sensor and the electrical connector from the idle air control (IAC) valve. Drain the cooling system by unhinging the lower coolant hose and the upper coolant hose from the throttle housing. Remove the accelerator control cable by placing the throttle lever wide open throttle (WOT) apply and takes out the cable end from the slot and if needs be, remove the a/t Throttle Cable from the throttle lever to the Throttle Body . Remove the two nuts or 2 bolts holding the Throttle Body and gasket to the Intake Manifold , and get any remaining Throttle Body gasket material off the Intake Manifold . For installation, install a new gasket and thawble body into the Intake Manifold and fasten it with 2 nuts or bolts and work up to 25 n.m (18 lb ft). If need be, join the a/t Throttle Cable to throttle lever and the accelerator control cable to throttle lever with adjustment of the externals if required. Connect the lower coolant hose and the upper coolant hose to the Throttle Body, then iac valve electrical connector and tp sensor electrical connector . Lastly reconnect the breather hose back to the Throttle Body and reinstall the intake air inlet duct to the Throttle Body.
