The first step to replace the rear door window Weather Strip requires you to set the rear door window at its full downward position. You need to start by removing the rear door water deflector per (Water Deflector Replacement - Rear Door) and then you should remove the rear door inner belt sealing strip according to (Sealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Window Belt Inner). Start by removing the rear door stationary window molding according to the (Window Replacement - Rear Door Stationary) instructions and afterwards extract the rear door window Weather Strip from the door. You should start by placing the new rear door window Weather Strip onto the rear door window from its corner and continue pressing it outward until it is properly seated. The procedure includes installing the rear door stationary window molding (Window Replacement - Rear Door Stationary) first then adding the rear door inner belt sealing strip (Sealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Window Belt Inner) and ending with the rear door water deflector (Water Deflector Replacement - Rear Door). Seal off the rear door window before finishing the installation process.

Remove the rear door window weatherstrip from the rear door.

Ensure the front end is inserted into the gap formed by the weatherstrip and the door inner panel, the rear end is flush to the rear leg of the weatherstrip, and that it does not interfere with the window's path.

Take out the rear door inner belt sealing strip.

The water deflector, the outside mirror, and finally, the trim panel.

Begin at the top center of the lid opening and work down toward the bottom center, using a rubber mallet to ensure full engagement of the weatherstrip onto the pinch-weld flange.

First, lower the rear door window and remove the rear door trim panel.

Take out the inner sealing strip (part number: 345678) and the stationary window molding (part number: 456789).

Lift the front door window inner belt sealing strip off of the weld flange.

Place the new weatherstrip onto the flange on the body.

Press the sealing strip firmly onto the weld flange until fully seated, then reinstall the front door trim panel.

Next, take off the front door water deflector.

Position the window weatherstrip to the door starting in the corner and work out in both directions, ensuring it is firmly seated.

Reinstall the trim panel and raise the window.
