Before proceeding start by raising and stabilizing the vehicle properly. Take out the tire and wheel unit next. Hit the back side of the cap with a solid wooden square that you place 50mm (2 inch) from its base and tap the wood with a hammer to remove the cap. Set the wheel cover cap at its wheel opening while using a block made of wood at least 76 mm (3 inch) wide to position it. Strike the block of wood with a hammer to place the cap correctly, then put the tire and wheel back and lower the car. Striking the cap with the spray directly in the middle needs perfect spreading of weight to prevent long-lasting cap damage.

The service operations for the wheel cover start by adequately supporting and raising the vehicle. Begin by removing both tire and wheel assembly from their position. A squared-off block of wood with a diameter of 50 mm (2 inch) should contact the back surface of the cap while you strike it with a hammer to remove it. When installing a cap place it into position at the wheel opening followed by the use of a block of wood at least 76 mm (3 inch) in diameter to strike against the cap face with a hammer. Use the provided tool to recover your vehicle by refitting the tire and wheel and lowering the vehicle to the floor.
