The crossover pipe installation requires proper positioning against the exhaust manifolds following the instructions provided in the fastener notice section of service precautions. Fasten the crossover pipe bolts at 18 nm torque (13 ft. Lbs.). Reinstall the air flow duct first before putting back both the power brake booster heat shield and the heat shield bolts with a torque of 20 nm (15 ft. Lbs.). You should reinstall the fuel injector sight shield as the final step.
