  A: Begin air bag clock spring assembly / spiral cable removal by disabling the sir system first. After removing the inflatable restraint Steering Wheel module and the Steering Wheel nut you need to note the alignment mark between the Steering Shaft and the Steering Wheel. First remove the Steering Wheel from the shaft then pull the tilt lever straight outward while grasping it to extract the tilt lever assembly. Beginning installation demands removal of two pan head tapping screws from the lower shroud followed by the lower shroud itself. Begin the upper shroud removal process by pulling out one torx(R) head screw followed by removal of the upper shroud itself.
