An effective cleaning process of wheel bearing flange surfaces and brake rotor mating areas becomes necessary after rotor detachment from the wheel bearing flange because failure to do so may result in rotor lateral runout increase and brake pulsation. Wash the rotor mating surfaces along with the wheel bearing flange before placing the rotor onto the wheel studs at the bearing flange. After wheel reinstallation begins by placing back the brake caliper assembly and bracket. Then put on the tire-wheel assembly in its proper position.
