How to service the MAP Sensor on 2000 Buick Regal?

You must first turn off the ignition and afterward remove the fuel injection sight shield prior to servicing the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor. The MAP sensor service begins with removing screws to detach the electrical connector and vacuum hose from the sensor while extracting the MAP sensor. Before installation connect the electrical connector and vacuum hose to the MAP sensor following the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions. Secure the MAP sensor to the bracket using screws before reinstalling the fuel injection sight shield.
