Attach the Flywheel holding tool (J 37096) to stabilize the Flywheel afterward remove the crankshaft Harmonic Balancer retaining bolt using a 28 mm socket. The balancer remover (J 38197) will remove the crankshaft Harmonic Balancer and the technician should install the Crankshaft Position Sensor shield without using any pry bar. Remove the Crankshaft Position Sensor from the block face by first disconnection of the sensor electrical connector and then unscrewing the sensor's attaching bolts. Place the ckp sensor onto its proper block position before installing the bolts and setting their tightness between 20-40 n.m (14-28 lb ft). Attach the Crankshaft Position Sensor shield before you reconnect the electrical connector to the sensor. Position the crankshaft Harmonic Balancer on the crankshaft then clamp the Flywheel with a Flywheel holding tool (J 37096) before torquing the Harmonic Balancer bolt to 150 n.m +76 degrees (110 lb ft +76 degrees) using torque/angle meter (J 36660-A). Secure the right front wheel and tire assembly to the hub before torquing the wheel nuts to 140 n.m (104 lb ft). Finally, attach the right inner fender access cover. After vehicle lowering install both serpentine belts while finishing the crankshaft variation learn procedure.
