    A: The first step to replace the front side door window front channel and rear channel requires removal of the door trim panel. Begin by untucking the door module alongside the water deflector. Then, remove the window. You should detach both fasteners from the rear window channel before rotating it forward and pulling it out from the rear access hole in the inner door panel. Access the front window channel retaining bolt by removing the mirror and separately take out the window weather strip from its pinchweld of the window channel. Detach the lower fastener on the front window channel while also removing the upper fastener from the push nut. Pull out the front window channel by removing it from the front access opening of the inner door panel. To install the rear window channel push both studs through the access hole of the inner door panel before fastening the bottom and top points with 9 N.m (80 lb in). Insert the front window channel through the front access hole while positioning its upper slot correctly against the outer panel fastener of the mirror patch and then push the lower stud into the inner door panel slot. Connect the upper fastener to the front window channel before tightening it to 1.3 N.m (12 lb in) then proceed with tightening the lower fastener to 9 N.m (80 lb in). Return the sequence of installation by placing the door trim panel as the final step after reinstalling the window weather strip, mirror, window, water deflector and door module.
