To install the rear window channel pass it through the rear access opening of the inner door panel before fitting the studs into the designated slots and tightening the upper and lower nuts to 9 N.m (80 lb in). The front window channel installation requires passing its front access hole while positioning the upper slot to meet the nut located on the outer panel of the mirror patch before inserting the lower stud into the inner door panel slot. Stretch the upper bolt into the front window channel and secure it at 1.3 N.m (12 lb in) while the lower nut should be tightened to 9 N.m (80 lb in). Reinsert the weather strip into position on the window pinchweld along with the mirror then apply it toward the window and water deflector before placing it properly on the door module and door trim panel.
