Follow this by inserting the cup holder into the console and tightening fasteners to 8 N.m (7 lb in). The rubber liner should go back into the cup holder's bottom position before you close the cup holder followed by proper alignment of the retaining clips on the console center trim plate's rear. Push them downwards to lock the fastener clip.
