How to replace the Ride Height Sensor and Bracket on 2000 Cadillac Eldorado?

The replacement procedure for Ride Height Sensor and bracket starts with raising the vehicle up. First disconnect the link between the height sensor actuating arm and suspension Control Arm before taking the height sensor connector from the vehicle harness connector. Complete the Ride Height Sensor replacement by removing both the bracket alongside the four nuts that secure it. The four nuts require tightening to 3 nm (26 inch lbs.) when installing the bracket onto the height sensor. Install the height sensor with bracket onto the vehicle by using two bolts which must be tightened up to 6 nm (54 inch lbs.). Use the link to connect both the height sensor actuating arm and suspension Control Arm before letting the vehicle drop to its lowest position. Finally, adjust the height sensor.
