How to replace the rear Ride Height Sensor for the electronic suspension on 2000 Cadillac Eldorado?

The first step for replacing the rear position sensor on the electronic suspension system involves wheel removal and vehicle suspension elevation. First detach the sensor harness connector from the vehicle harness connector followed by unclipping three sensor harness clips from the vehicle before removing the sensor link from the ball stud. You must remove the two position sensor screws before extracting the sensor. Next position the new sensor onto the vehicle while using the two screws to mount it before tightening them to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.). First connect the sensor link to the ball stud before securing the three sensor harness clips onto both components and joining the sensor harness connector to the vehicle harness connector. After reinstalling the wheel let the vehicle lower to ground position before carrying out Trim Height Adjustment.
