How to service and repair the A/C Clutch on 2000 Chevrolet Astro?

In order to maintain the compressor clutch, detach the compressor and fasten it in a vise. Install the installer-remover to unscrew the clutch plate and the hub assembly. Store the shaft key to assemble again, wipe off the parts and make sure the parts are properly aligned. Inspect the air gap and clearance and reassemble the compressor.
