Start by supporting the vehicle and then extract the auxiliary evaporator rear outlet tube from the outlet side tubes and the inlet tube from the inlet side tubes of the auxiliary evaporator. First detach the bolts securing tube clips to the body before uncoupling the tube from the auxiliary evaporator module with its seal washers. Begin by applying seal washers before installing the tube to the auxiliary evaporator module where you should tighten the nut to 25 N.m (18 lb ft). Tighten the bolts that attach the clips to body tubes to 5 N.m with a torque value of 44 lb in. Tighten the rear inlet tube of the auxiliary evaporator to its inlet side tube using 27.5 N.m (20 lb ft) before connecting the rear outlet tube to the outlet side tube using 47.5 N.m (35 lb ft). The procedure includes lowering the vehicle while checking the system for leaks during the evacuation and recharging processes.
