How to replace the wiper motor on the liftgate on 2000 Chevrolet Astro?

Before working on the liftgate Wiper Motor you must take off the liftgate garnish molding and disconnect its power connector. Proceed by detaching the Wiper Motor from the Wiper Arm and then removing the nut together with the spacer and seal. You can separate the Wiper Motor from the liftgate by taking off its two bolts. Fasten the Wiper Motor to the liftgate by using its two bolts and tightening them to 7.0 n.m or 62 lb in torque. Secure the seal then put on the spacer and nut. Use properly calibrated tools to reach 6.0 n.m tightening force. Reinstall the entire wiper assembly and connect the Wiper Motor electrical wires while returning the liftgate garnish in its correct position.
