Starting the front brake caliper bracket substitution process requires pad removal of both inner and outer components. First remove the caliper bracket bolts then take out the caliper bracket . Separate boot bolts and bushings from the bracket before checking for cracks to make a replacement when needed. Silicone grease should be applied to new bolt boots and bushings before you install these components within the caliper bracket . Use the bracket bolts to install the caliper bracket and clamp each bolt to 100 Nm (74 ft. lbs.) before installing both inner and outer brake pads.
