You should first extract the valve rocker arms and pushrods from the engine before working on the Lash Adjuster guide bolts and guide itself for removal. Next remove the lash adjusters from the engine. A coat of prelude gm p/n 12345501 or equivalent needs to be applied to new lash adjusters prior to their installation with the Lash Adjuster guide. Tighten the Lash Adjuster guide bolts to 30 nm (22 ft. Lbs.) torque. Install the lower Intake Manifold after replacing all components including valve rocker arms and pushrods.
