How to replace the Lash Adjusters on 2001 Chevrolet Camaro?

The procedure starts by taking off the lower Intake Manifold and removing valve rocker arms along with pushrods before moving to the valve lifter guide bolt removal and valve lifter extraction. Permanent the valve lifter guide bolts first before removing the valve lifter guide and subsequent valve lifters removal. Before installing the valve lifters apply prelube solution gm p/n 12345501 or equivalent. Set the valve lifters inside the valve lifter guide after making sure the guide bolts reach 30 nm (22 ft. Lbs.) torque value. The last step is to install each component starting with the valve rocker arms then the pushrods followed by the lower Intake Manifold.
