  A: First remove the air cleaner assembly before taking off the master cylinder nuts and transferring the master cylinder away from the booster. Position the master cylinder ahead until it reaches the vacuum booster studs and pull back the brake pipes from damaging during this process. To start the process disconnect the vacuum hose from the vacuum check valve and loosen the booster retainer nuts. Hang the vacuum booster while you pull out its pushrod away from the Brake Pedal slowly and put the booster into the vehicle. Push the booster pushrod onto the Brake Pedal after setting the booster unit on the vehicle and lightly tilt the booster to prevent pushing on the pushrod. Secure the booster nuts by applying torque of 27 nm (20 ft. Lbs.). Join the vacuum hose end to the check valve before you put the master cylinder on top of the booster. Tighten the master cylinder attaching nuts to 27 nm (20 ft. Lbs.) after you secure them to the booster.
