Q: How to service the Sway Bar Link on 2000 Chevrolet Impala?
A: Start the sway bar link maintenance by properly elevating and sustaining the vehicle. The processing requires the wheel/barrel removal next. Proceed with removing the sway bar link bolt and nut before taking out the sway bar link from the vehicle. Install the sway bar link by putting it into the vehicle while following the Fastener Notice contained in Service Precautions. Secure the sway bar link bolt along with its nut by tightening the nut to 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.). Finish by putting back the tire and wheel assembly followed by lowering the vehicle down.
