How to replace the Air Inlet Blend Door Actuator on 2000 Chevrolet Lumina?

The instrument panel needs to be removed before you replace the air inlet actuator. First disconnect the vacuum line at the air inlet vacuum actuator and free the retaining clip from the hvac module. The air inlet vacuum actuator requires shaft disconnect action through rotating motion to uninstall the actuator from the module. The actuator installation process starts by rotating it to connect the actuator shaft followed by alignment after which a pressure drop on the mounting tabs exposes the hvac module for assembly. Connect vacuum lines to the air inlet vacuum actuator before installing the instrument panel.
