    Q:
How to replace the defroster Blend Door Actuator on Chevrolet Lumina? Posted by Customer
    A:
Start the defroster actuator replacement by disassembling both the right side instrument panel insulator and instrument panel compartment. Remove vacuum lines from the defroster vacuum actuator before releasing the retaining clip from the hvac module. Use the rotating motion of the air inlet vacuum actuator to disconnect the shaft from the actuator while you remove the component from its place on the module. To install the defroster vacuum actuator rotate the device until the actuator shaft connects correctly and then line up the actuator before pressing inward to place it on the hvac module's mounting tabs. After installing the instrument panel compartment and right side instrument panel insulator, reconnect vacuum lines to the defroster vacuum actuator.
