  A: To replace the Starter motor, it is required to disconnect the negative Battery Cable from the battery and lift the vehicle with adequate lifting precautions. Remove the lower close out panel and the Starter motor to motor bolts and then lower the Starter and then disconnect the electrical leads to remove Starter. Installation consist of positioning the Starter and establish the leads with cable tightened to the solenoid to 12 n.m (106 lb.in). Then, fit the Starter to the engine bolts making sure they tighten at 50 n.m (37 lb ft) before refitting the lower closeout panel. Lower the vehicle and restore the negative Battery Cable tightened to 16 n.m (12 lb ft).
