How to service the Power Door Lock Switch on 2000 Chevrolet Prizm?

A taped flat bladed tool should be used to pry away the front side door accessory switch mounting plate securely attached to the front side door trim. Detach the electrical connector of the front side door window/lock switch before uninstalling the front side door window/lock switch and its 3 screws and front side door accessory switch mounting plate. First secure the front side door accessory switch mounting plate to the front side door window/lock switch while using the provided 3 screws . To finish the installation reconnect the front side door window/lock switch electrical connector before putting back on the front side door accessory switch mounting plate to its original position on the front side door trim.
